I see no need to defend Lennox Linton, as I am certain he can do that himself adequately. It is indeed unfortunate that people you trust can betray that trust and get you in trouble. Lennox must learn from this experience and whether or not it destroys his chances of becoming Prime Minister, what we have seen is the hypocrisy of labourites in full force.
Consider that the Al Jazeera story was all of 45 minutes with Skerrit being exposed with documentary evidence of his illicit activities and the final 3 minutes “exposed” Lennox.
I won’t try to make an excuse for Lennox but journalists always believe that they should be fair and impartial and that was on full display here. Yet, the average labourite have conveniently missed the essence of the story which exposes Skerrit and his corruption but wants to call on Lennox for possible corruption.
What hypocrisy, when they tell us that the gold bars, the elaborate trips, campaign finance like we’ve never seen and all these crimes committed mean less to them that the possibility of Lennox doing something similar.
These people have no regard for the good name of Dominica, as long as Skerrit is the one taking it to the gutters, they are only concerned when it seem like someone else might do the same.
How can these people ever claim to love Dominica when they refuse to hold the leader of the country accountable for his actions. I get it but refuse to accept that in 2019 Dominica is so full of partisan and illiterate people who care more about a party than their country. What hypocrisy!!!!!
