On the night of Nov 23rd, 2019, on a political platform in Dominica , the prime minister ,Roosevelt Skerrit finally took a stance as a Socialist . He then proceeded to take jabs at what is perceived to be the United States. He mentioned a powerful ultra conservative country in the region who does not support immigration and against free healthcare amongst other things. He yelled many times hands off Dominica. A country he now treats like it was left to him by his parents . This is concerning because he states his party is to the left and is Socialist oriented. Does that mean all of the members of the Dominica Labour believes in all what Skerrit uttered? his members are and if so will they be making statements themselves. What do this these rants by Skerrit mean? He has also taken a stance against the OAS in regards to their recommendations on electoral reform in Dominica.
Also of note, The United States is where the Prime minister and his wife have always chosen to have their children. I guess he prefers that healthcare and other luxuries the US provides for himself and his family.
Skerrit will never learn. He seems totally detached from reality! Clearly got anger issues. Stemmed from a childhood riddled with abuse. Based on recent revelations, Skerrit’s behaviour is consistent with some deep rooted feeling harboured all these years. He finds himself lashing out at those he perceived as a threat to him. So much so, he’s become quite paranoid. Clearly delusional and a complete basket case! Why is would he be on the verge of political suicide!
