THE ASSASSINS OF DEMOCRACY

We would have simply lost our moral fibre as a nation, if we stand by and allow this level of pervasive behavior by a leader to destroy the very fabric of our democracy.
*This far reaching abuse of power must stop!
*Inflicting poverty on a people and reducing …
them to a nation of beggars in order to control
and manipulate the masses.
*Mismanagement of state funds via CBI Program
and distribute as his own personal source of revenue.
*The exploitation of the indigenous people of our land
and call it integration
*Lawlessness has run amok as those in leadership continue to violate all sorts of laws: corrupt the court system and have their misdeeds go unpunished.

Case in point,

The illegal interference with the process of our Elections means there’s a vacuum in our Democracy.

On December 6th 2019, the most brazen Election fraud and vote rigging witnessed, must certainly be viewed as illegitimate by the majority of the population and the international community. Although the OAS, Commonwealth and CARICOM observers mission preliminary reports fail to mention the “irregularities” that occurred before, during, and after the elections. Essentially, making the same recommendations put forward prior the announcement of the snap Election. Though it was implied the results reflected “the will” of the people, the people of Dominica who voted for change do not share that view. The majority of the people interpreted the OAS member brusque reply to questions posed at the press conference, for tacitly supporting the illegal practices in propping up this regime. Ignoring massive protests calling for him to step down.
Voting is the cornerstone of our democracy and the fundamental right upon which all our civil liberties rest. When it’s taken from the people by manipulating the Election outcome, then it must be condemned!

The images of imported voters departing Dominica immediately after  perpetuating this election fraud, is evidence of the bribery and the obscene amount of state funds used to financed the chartered flights to transport these individuals to and from Dominica. Many were ferried from neighboring French Islands as well as St. Lucia.

It is reported as many as 8000 imported bribed voters participated in this nationwide fraud. Plus  hundreds of Haitians , and other such irregularities.

This was  well orchestrated and was facilitated by a number of high ranking officials across the board.

Now that we know the very system designed to prevent this level of corruption are led by officials – akin to foxes guarding the henhouses.

As the old proverb says, La union hace la fuerza. The union – in unity, there is strength. Through our shared commitment to democracy, we collectively present a vivid example to the world that diversity is strength, that inclusion works, that justice can reject impunity, and that the rights of individuals must be protected against government overreach and abuse. We also prove that peace is possible. You don’t need force to have fuerza.
The vision that we share for our country is actually within our grasp, but we have to ask ourselves some tough and important questions in order to secure our goal.
~John Kerry ~

Therefore, the people continue to fight for their rights
