November 14, 2019 , Nurse Anette Sanford the UWP representative for the Kalinago territory released a message to the public. At her launch last week in the Kalinago Territory she announced on the public platform that she was offered $120,000 by Prime Minister of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit for her not to run against Cozier Frederick the DLP candidate. She proudly announced that she was not for sale and no amount of money could bribe her .
Today, in her audio message she stated that at one point she was invited to the home of attorney Lenox Lawrence where she met with the Prime Minister, Lennox Lawrence and Remy Lawrence. The purpose of the meeting was to have her endorse Cozier Frederick at his launching in the Kalinago Territory. She would be given a red T-shirt and $120,000 for her endorsement. Obviously she never showed up because she never planned on going along with their plans.
There has been several smear campaigns against Nurse Sanford. She has stood firm in her Kalinago spirit and keep on moving forward. She has earned the name the “ Iron Lady”.
She has also delivered evidence to the police on the matter on which she speaks.
It was high time that the Kalinago People had someone of integrity and the heart of a Lion/Lioness to stand on their behalf!!! The Kalinago People has no other choice but to stand with her and by her and don’t give in to the sellouts who has been taking advantage and exploiting the People!!!
