Recent reports about a lawyer surreptitiously recording female users of his office washroom has caused us to question the Male lawyers serving in Dominica.
While we have no evidence to confirm that the culprit is Gerald Burton, we are asking him to clear his name as he is the Chairman of the Electoral commission and should not be in any position that can compromise his independence.
There are suggestions that even innocent young lawyers have been recorded surreptitiously along with a female minister of government.
In the interest of fairness, while these are mere allegations, it cannot be that a cloud of this magnitude be allowed to hang over the head of any individual with great constitutional responsibility.
Mr Burton as the Chairman of the Electoral commission and a lawyer, you need to categorically deny your involvement in such conduct. The Patriots await.
