In October 2017, Dowlin Alexander was charged and the sum of approximately EC$180,000.00 in various currencies (US, EUROS and Pounds Sterling) was confiscated by the State. Since then, the matter has been in Court for forfeiture hearing.
Before the matter came up for hearing in 2018, threats were made to the local Prosecutor who then abandoned the case. Since then, they have been searching for a Prosecutor to handle the matter and a Queens Counsel from Europe agreed to do the matter pro bono.
